Biography
I was
born in 1961 to Jay and Dodie Culpepper.
We traveled quite a bit when I was young due to the
fact that my father was an electrician, and we
followed construction work. I met many people but
just as I was getting comfortable with my
surroundings,
the job would end, and we would move. This may
be why I find it difficult to form lasting
relationships.
Let me
start by saying I'm far from perfect. But I strive
daily to be a better person. I've made mistakes,
just as most of us have. But I know I'm learning
and growing from these life lessons. I was married
to my first wife for 13 years. We had four
wonderful children. And I repeated my father's
mistakes.
Due to a
lifestyle filled with alcohol and late nights, I
wrecked my family life, and lost my first wife. With
help from God and my current wife of 14 years, Vickey, I have not found it necessary to take a
drink in several years. In those several years, I
have patched damaged relationships with my children,
I think they love me again. Today, I travel from
place to place wherever I have the opportunity.
Giving my
testimony, sharing a song with whoever
will
listen, and telling people
about the
good news
of Jesus Christ.
